 Penny has an eighteen year track record in catalysing change for sustainable development as an experienced and skilful facilitator, trainer and consultant. She helps clients to learn about sustainability, identify where they can make a difference, learn to act more effectively to achieve their sustainability goals, talk and listen better about sustainable development topics, and identify and overcome barriers so as to build excellent solutions.
Her clients include multi-national companies, world class educational institutions, environment and development NGOs and public service bodies.
Penny's projects include facilitating and informing the development of sustainability strategies, developing tailor-made training to build skills and understanding, planning and running structured workshops where effective action plans can be created and agreed, planning and carrying out consultation processes and dialogue with stakeholders, and delivering one-to-one coaching to develop excellence.
Before moving to consultancy, Penny worked at Friends of the Earth for eight years, including as Local Campaigns Director. Her considerable environmental expertise has been called on at the highest level For instance, she was invited to sit on Government Recycling Advisory Committees, has given evidence to both Houses of Parliament in the UK, has briefed the office of HRH the Prince of Wales and has advised the Queen's Awards for Enterprise: sustainable development category.
