David is a Director of Alexander Ballard Ltd and leads many of our consulting projects. He has also played a leading role in the development of the PACT framework. As well as an enthusiastic teacher (Fellow in Management Science, Senior Lecturer in Environmental Technologies, Open University) and media communicator, Dr Peake is a professional consultant, facilitator and media advisor. Originally trained as a physicist, Stephen gained a PhD in Engineering and Management from the University of Cambridge, where he also worked as Research Associate in corporate environmental management and auditing. From 1993-1995 he was Research Fellow in the Energy and Environmental Programme at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House, London, during which time he was seconded for several months to group planning at Shell International Petroleum Company in London.
